Reverend Moon: The Messianic Imposter

‘By their fruits you shall know them’ Math 7: 16

It is difficult to know where to start with the evidence which proves unequivocally that Reverend Moon is not the Messiah – which he claims to be – because there is so much of it. Many people need no such evidence of course, they know he is not the Messiah, how do they know? Well, ‘Stands to reason doesn’t it, the claim is ridiculous’

Not very scientific is it, but that’s all the evidence most people need, it’s gut feeling and gut feeling figures prominently in people’s lives, Gut feeling has nothing to do with the gut it is the combined thoughts and experiences of ones life that help us to understand in a flash what is and is not true. Gut feeling, is an essential characteristic of our lives because more often than not it is right – more often than not however is not always, so in this world of scientific exactitude we cannot settle for gut feeling we have to examine the evidence logically and then after having done so accept or reject the findings.

Why, you may be asking, why does it matter that Reverend Moon thinks he is the Messiah, let him think it, there are people in the asylum etc., etc.

It matters to me because I believe I am the Messiah and I believe that Reverend Moon has been sent in the position of John the Baptist to prepare the way for me. That won’t make sense to most people but it makes sense to Reverend Moon and his followers who are the ones this section of the website is hoping to influence.

Reverend Moon thinks he is the Messiah, I think I am and perhaps you think we are both nuts, Whatever, they are only thoughts in the head unless we can prove otherwise and until we can show a practical reason for being or wanting to be the Messiah.

If you’ve read everything on this website you’ll know my reasons; I want to build Paradise on Earth. Reverend Moon, same, or at least that’s what he claims but does he want to do it for the entire human race or just for him and his family? It’s your Creation, you will have to decide. You want Paradise on earth for now and for future lives that you may live here? Who is going to build it for you? Me, Reverend Moon, the Pope?

‘By their fruits you shall know them.’

The purpose of this section of the website as I have already implied is to influence the followers of Reverend Moon rather than for general consumption. Especially I would like to influence the Blessed Couples since it was they, mostly, who through their hard work built the Unification Church.

There is no sense in me throwing mud at Reverend Moon for the sole purpose of maligning the poor man when I know that he was programmed as are we all to do exactly what God wanted him to do but his time is up. Are the Blessed Couples going to let him hand over their hard work to Hyo Jin an adulterer, a wife beater, an alcoholic, a junkie ‘Perfect child?’

Reverend Phillip Shanker as I’ve mentioned was a friend of mine, I’d like to think he is still a friend but unfortunately Phillip has chosen to remove me from his Christmas card list, the reasons are obvious and are all to do with my threat to his ride on Reverend Moon’s Gravy Train.

As much as anyone in the Western World, Phillip, I do believe, is responsible for the propagation of Reverend Moon’s ideas, he has a lot to answer for. So many Blessed Children who never asked for the predicament they find themselves in and who have already ‘Fallen’ have Phillip Schanker and his personal Gravy Train to thank. Might I just say at this point for the sake of those poor children Hyo Jin included that God loves you infinitely and Never would he allow you to suffer for ‘Falling’ the story is a concoction of Reverend Moon’s mind thought up to fuel the Gravy Train.

When I first met Phillip in 1984 I asked him why he believes that Reverend Moon is the Messiah and he answered; ‘Because he has all the answers.’ It was the best response he could have given me because I was actively searching for the Messiah who according to my calculations had to have all the answers. As it turned out Phillip’s claim was empty hyperbole but in my effort to discover what turned out to be a false claim I learned a great deal about Phillip.

He is very intelligent with a magnetic personality and a silver tongue. It is this combination of gifts that endears him to so many people, some of whom are understandably misled. I’m not saying Phillip is a con artist, not in the strict meaning of the word at least, he is just a typical religious fanatic who believes what he wants to believe and convinces himself that he must be right because of his ability to persuade so many people to his way of thinking.

Many years after deciding that the Unification Church was on the wrong track and as a result, leaving it and Phillip to their own devices, I contacted him by email. He seemed genuinely pleased to hear from me though it’s difficult to know what Phillip really thinks because he is one of those nice guys who tries to be all things to all people and wouldn’t tell me what he thinks if his thoughts about me were negative.

A string of emails resulted from that contact and as expected developed into me claming that Reverend Moon is not the Messiah and an offer to send him the information that would prove it. Phillip being Phillip metaphorically patted me on the head, suggested that I send it to him, which I did, and offered to give it careful consideration, no doubt thinking he would have no trouble dismantling the misguided opinions of this faithless reprobate. I still have the emails that Phillip sent me, ‘I promise’ in bold type.

After about four emails and dozens of pages from me he admitted that he wasn’t reading them because he was too busy, but he would eventually ‘get around to it, I PROMISE’ which he must have done because I haven’t heard from him since.

It’s easy to convince gullible, drop-out kids who don’t know where they are going or from where they are coming with theology they know nothing about, and if you make empty promises to go with the lies – well, how do the kids know the promises are empty? But me on the other hand, different kettle of fish, there’s only one way to deal with my type and it’s a long and well used practice.

Look at the flak the Catholic Church has had to take over the years for the abominable treatment they meted out to Galileo. The pleasure they enjoyed from humiliating a better man than themselves proved to be a pyrrhic victory over the unfortunate man. It would have been better had they ignored Galileo. Better that they ignore me also as they too have done and are doing but that you should know they all fear me and the truth I’ve decided to issue the following challenge:

The bible and the Divine Principle (Reverend Moon’s bible) are crammed from cover to cover with supposition, half truths and lies, crammed from their respective very first pages and so long as they (the Unification and the Catholic Church) continue to promote the fantasy to which these books supposedly testify the world will continue to be morally deluded and led astray, so for everyone’s sake the truth must be told. The challenge is this: Reverend Schanker, a theologian of the Pope’s choice and I will spend a year together analyzing everything they and I are teaching and then after that one year we each present our findings to the Blessed Couples the College of Cardinals and whomever else wants to listen.

Of course they won’t accept the challenge, this is just an exercise in futility, never will they accept because if they do their Gravy Trains grind to a halt. How does the religious establishment win? By ignoring the issues, by pretending that whatever it is their critics are saying is not worth consideration. A battle that is never fought cannot be lost, that’s the strategy, but take note, I am not afraid of them, I will not remain silent because I know in a fight for the truth between they and I, I cannot lose. As you read this the challenge stands.

This section is about Reverend Moon and it is included specifically for the benefit of his ‘Blessed Couples’ so I would like them to consider the following:

Reverend Moon claims to have been given the mantle of Messiah by Jesus at the foot of a mountain in Korea when he was a 16-year-old boy. I welcome the opportunity to present the evidence which will show that this is a lie.

Reverend Moon claims to have discovered in his fight with the physical and the spiritual world that the ‘Fall of Man’ was an act of fornication – another lie. The idea that the ‘Fall of Man’ was fornication has been suspected by theologians for centuries, Saint Augustine himself suspected it.

Reverend Moon claims that on discovering that the ‘Fall of Man’ was an act of fornication took his findings to God and was told that it was not. Which means (since the Unification Church is founded on the fact that the ‘Fall of Man’ was an act of fornication) either God lied or Reverend Moon did – take your choice.

‘What God hath joined together let no man put asunder’ Math. 19:6

Reverend Moon divorced his first wife and married a much younger and more beautiful second one. He had a good reason? It was the same reason that Lucifer had. If you ask a Christian theologian why God the Omnipotent has so much trouble with the Puny Satan they will probably tell you that it is because Satan breaks all the rules and God cannot break any. In other words, Reverend Moon cannot break the rules (as he tends to do) every time he has a good reason or when it suits the dispensation or when it is providential. All of Reverend Moon’s excuses are the stock-in-trade of a con man.

Anyone needing evidence to suggest that Reverend Moon, his wife and children – the so-called Perfect Family – are flawed to the point of nausea, need look no further than the book ‘In the Shadow of the Moons’ written by his daughter-in-law Nansook Hong and published by Little, Brown and Company of New York. It would be dishonest to dismiss this book without consideration of the turmoil this poor girl went through in making the decision to write it and it is dishonest to accept at face value whatever excuses (and although I haven’t heard any, I know there must be some) Reverend Moon and his apologists have invented to convince his followers that this book should not be taken seriously. If they want my analysis of these excuses they only have to ask. They won’t – believe me.

At the beginning of this website I stated that I am not going to ask for money. Why is that? It is because money or the monetary system represents possibly the greatest of mankind’s social problems. They don’t say, ‘Money is the root of all evil’ for nothing.

But since I live in a world that is governed, lubricated, fuelled and manipulated by money, my plans and my message are never going to get of the ground without some.

I’m probably being foolish, I may have to eat humble pie and introduce ways and means of acquiring the filthy stuff but I hope not, for there is another way. Reverend Moon, the dear man, and I mean that sincerely, has done the leg work. He has built an infrastructure that can launch the ‘Truth’ that I bring here onto the world. Reverend Moon is my John the Baptist, he has been sent to pave the way, but of course I’m not holding my breath, let’s not forget that John, for reasons of human failings that are all too prevalent in the nature of Reverend Moon, failed Jesus.

But Reverend Moon alone didn’t build the Unification Church Empire, he was the catalyst certainly but without his followers, without those Blessed Couples there would be no Empire just as there would be no Christianity without the Apostles. The Blessed Couples as much as anybody probably more than anybody are entitled to an opinion so I am asking them now what they want to do.

Reverend Moon is an old man, he won’t be around forever, Hyo Jin? According to the ‘Dispensation’ (have I got the terminology right?) Hyo Jin is the providential next step. Could Heavenly Father have been more specific if he’d sent a postcard?

Tell you what, put your heads together and suggest to Reverend Moon that if he is indeed the Messiah then he should have nothing to fear from accepting my challenge.

You want the explanations to all those little inconsistencies and improbabilities that have bugged you for so long? Lucifer, a spirit, fornicating with Eve a human? Cain and Abel? Why God allowed a situation where the ‘Perfect’ nature of the Messiah could be questioned and held up to ridicule? Would the Divine Principle stand on its own merit without the claim that Reverend Moon received his mission personally from Jesus? Why did Heavenly Father give Reverend Moon a son Hyo Jin with a nature that is (by Divine Principle standards) so obviously flawed? Why did Reverend Moon accept that young man from Zimbabwe as his late son? Why are Reverend Moon and Reverend Schanker afraid of me? What chance does Reverend Moon have of establishing the Kingdom of Heaven on earth without the use of Party Tricks and where is there a single scrap of evidence to show that God will use Party Tricks for this purpose? Why has the Kingdom of heaven not been established on earth when early in his ministry Reverend Moon claimed that it would be established by 2004? Why is it that Reverend Moon and his cohorts were able to put the Divine Principle together and make it seem so credible (to the credulous at least) if it wasn’t Divinely inspired? – The answer is that it was Divinely inspired, but not for the reasons they thought it was.

Incidentally let me make this quite clear; I’m not asking the leaders of the Unification Church to hand over its empire and wealth to me, nor am I bent or establishing a family dynasty. There is nothing special about me, I can’t walk on water and I too am a robot. All I ask is that my views are given fair consideration. Test the Messianic Law, if it is wrong then forget everything you have read here but if it is not – well, surely the ramifications are obvious.
